MDOT is hosting a virtual public meeting to discuss a proposed temporary pedestrian trail closure as a part of an upcoming project to improve the I-94 Business Loop (BL) at Ravenswood Road in St. Clair County. At this meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the project team to learn details and to share their feedback.

Project information:
MDOT is investing approximately $338,000 to improve I-94 BL at Ravenswood Road in the cities of Port Huron and Marysville in St. Clair County. Proposed work includes building left-turn lanes in both directions of I-94 BL to improve safety and reduce crashes.

As a part of this project, nonmotorized access to the Bridge to Bay Trail near Ravenswood Road will be temporarily closed during construction for approximately two months. This project is currently in the design phase with anticipated construction in summer 2027.

Public input is being accepted to help recognize and address any concerns that may result from any impacts of the proposed temporary trail closure per a proposed de minimis impact finding under Section 4(f) of the U.S. Department of Transportation Act of 1966
