I-75 closure at Newport Road in Monroe County begins Monday

LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is closing two lanes on northbound I-75 at Newport Road for rebuilding. 

This work is part of the I-75/Newport Road interchange project. The project includes rebuilding the Newport Road bridge over I-75 and building roundabouts at each end of the bridge, along with rebuilding ramps at the interchange. The majority of work for this project is taking place in 2022-2023.
