M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) project update: One lane open in Macomb County Oct. 28 - 31
October 27, 2022
ROSEVILLE, Mich. - Crews are nearing completion of Phase II of the M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) rebuilding project and will require additional lane closures to finish paving the left lanes of the newly rebuilt road, weather permitting.
6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 - 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29
Southbound M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) will only have one lane open between 14 Mile and Common Roads.
4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 - 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 30
Northbound M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) will only have one lane open between Common and 14 Mile Roads.
3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 - 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31
Northbound and southbound M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) will only have one lane open between 14 Mile and Common Roads to complete any remaining paving in the median due to weather impacts.
13 Mile Road and Masonic Boulevard will also be closed intermittently Friday, Oct. 28, to Monday, Oct. 31, while paving through the intersection. 14 Mile Road remains closed until Tuesday, Nov. 1.
Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support 826 jobs.
This work is part of the second year of the two-year project to rebuild 3 miles of M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) between 11 Mile and 14 Mile roads in the city of Roseville. The project is expected to be completed by late fall. For more information, go to MovingMacomb.org.
