Eastbound M-102 (8 Mile Road) lane closure near US-24 (Telegraph Road) starting Monday for utility work

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - In preparation for the rebuilding of US-24 (Telegraph Road) and the interchange with M-102 (8 Mile Road), utility crews have been working to relocate underground and overhead utilities.

Traffic restrictions:
Eastbound M-102 (8 Mile Road) will be reduced to one lane from east of Inkster Road to US-24 (Telegraph Avenue) while crews perform utility relocation work. Utility crews also continue to work on US-24 at the M-102 interchange in preparation of the project starting in spring 2023 to rebuild US-24 (Telegraph Road) from M-5 (Grand River Avenue) to M-102 (Eight Mile Road).
