Traffic signal outage at US-31/Bunker Hill Road Monday for house move

GAYLORD, Mich. - Contractors for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will temporarily remove the traffic signal at the intersection of US-31/M-37/M-72 and Bunker Hill Road in Acme Township this Monday, Dec. 12, to allow for a house move.

Traffic restrictions:
Contractors plan to remove one of the signal spans at the intersection beginning at about 9 a.m. in advance of the house move, currently scheduled to happen at about 12:30 p.m. While the signal is down, the intersection will operate as an all-way stop. All traffic will be stopped at the intersection while the house is moving through, which is expected to take about 15 minutes. Plans call for the intersection to fully reopen to traffic by 3 p.m.
