Signal replacements on US-131 in Kalkaska start May 30

GAYLORD, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $541,000 to modernize the traffic signals at the US-131 intersection with 3rd Street and Elm Street in Kalkaska. This project will include new concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk ramps built to current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, and new pavement markings.
