MDOT upgrading four rural intersections starting Friday

MARSHALL, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $675,000 to upgrade four rural intersections with advance warning systems:
- M-51 at Peavine Street south of Dowagiac,
- M-60 at M-66 south of Athens,
- M-60 at 8 Mile Road north of Union City, and
- M-60 at M-99 east of Homer.
MDOT will be installing yellow warning signs with a flashing beacon in advance of the intersections, alerting drivers to potential merging traffic.
