Maintenance repairs require closing southbound I-375 exit ramp to Madison Avenue in Detroit

DETROIT, Mich. ­- Weather permitting, Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) contract crews will close the southbound I-375 exit ramp to Madison Avenue from 7 a.m. Sunday, July 16, to late August. The ramp closure is necessary to allow crews to safely repair bridge piers on the ramp above southbound I-375.

Ramp traffic will be detoured via the southbound I-375 exit to Lafayette Avenue, then westbound Macomb Street to northbound St. Antione Street, and westbound Gratiot Avenue back to Madison Avenue.

The Madison Avenue ramp to northbound I-375 opened July 11.
