DEARBORN, Mich. - Road work continues on eastbound and westbound US-12 (Michigan Avenue) between Oakwood Boulevard and Greenfield Road. While all the ramps at M-39 (Southfield Freeway) and Greenfield Road have reopened, US-12 work continues with intermittent lane closures. Remaining work includes pavement repair, curb and gutters, sidewalks, signs, pavement markings, etc.
Currently, the US-12 project is expected to be completed and everything reopened to traffic by late October.
Based on economic modeling, this two-year, $17.9 million investment to mill and resurface US-12 is expected to directly and indirectly support nearly 227 jobs.Media Contact:
