Project information:
MDOT is currently in the final design phase for Component 1 of the BWB plaza expansion project. This meeting will provide general project updates, future steps, updated timelines for phases of work, and results of the noise analysis.
Based on the noise analysis conducted, the project will result in traffic noise impacts on properties west of I-94 from the Black River to Garfield Street and south of I-94 from the Black River to Pine Grove Avenue. MDOT is proposing the addition of noise barriers to lessen those impacts. The meeting will allow further discussion of the noise analysis, potential noise barriers, and review next steps for residents and property owners directly impacted.
