December 15, 2023
BAY CITY, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing approximately $1.3 million to modernize traffic signals and upgrade sidewalk ramps at five intersections along M-13 (Euclid Avenue) in Bay County.
M-13 (Euclid Avenue)
Monday, Dec. 18, 2023
Estimated end date:
Signal and sidewalk ramp upgrades will be done at the North Union, Midland Road, Jenny Street, Thomas Street, and Ionia Avenue intersections along M-13 as weather conditions permit this winter leading into spring. Drivers should expect shoulder and lane closures.
Crews will begin working on a portion of the project this winter and will wrap up work in spring. This work is weather-dependent.
Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support about 19 jobs.
This work will improve operations at the five intersections along M-13, while upgrading sidewalk ramps for pedestrians.
