Bridge work requires closing eastbound I-96 ramp to eastbound I-94 in Detroit Monday

DETROIT, Mich. - Weather permitting, Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) contract crews will be closing the eastbound I-96 ramp to eastbound I-94 starting at 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8. The ramp is expected to remain closed until the end of the month for bridge work.
Ramp traffic will be detoured via eastbound I-96 and northbound I-75 back to eastbound I-94.
Scheduled to begin at 5 a.m. and end by 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, westbound I-94 will have one lane open from I-75 to M-10 (Lodge Freeway) for ongoing work at the Cass Avenue bridge over I-94. During work hours, the northbound and southbound I-75 ramps to westbound I-94 will be closed.
