Project information:
MDOT is investing $8.5 million to replace the M-30 bridge over US-10 in Sanford. The new bridge will include a 14-foot, separated nonmotorized path on the west side of the structure for future pathway connections.

During the project, multiple closures and detours will be used. For the majority of the work, northbound M-30 will be closed at US-10 with traffic detoured via eastbound US-10, northbound Stark Road, and westbound US-10 back to northbound M-30. Southbound M-30 will be closed at US-10 with traffic detoured via westbound US-10, southbound W River Road, and eastbound US-10 back to southbound M-30

In addition, US-10 will be closed in each direction during the removal of the existing bridge and the setting of the beam for the new bridge. These closures and dates will be announced in advance.

Work is expected to begin in spring 2025 and continue through the fall.
