Reminder: MDOT Career Fest to explore career opportunities July 30-31

LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is reminding the public that the department is hosting a Career Fest July 30-31 to showcase exciting career paths within MDOT and connect with talented individuals interested in making a difference in their communities.

"The MDOT Career Fest is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in a rewarding career in transportation to learn more about the many different positions we offer," said State Transportation Director Bradley C. Wieferich. "Whether you're a recent graduate, a seasoned professional or simply looking for a career change, the MDOT Career Fest has something for everyone."

Attendees of the event will have the opportunity to learn about the 100-plus classifications and career paths within MDOT, as well as network with MDOT employees and education partners, and gain insights into available positions and qualifications.

The event will be held in two formats:

Attending the in-person event offers the opportunity to network with MDOT employees and learn firsthand about careers in transportation. This session is ideal for those seeking a more interactive experience. Registration is not required but is encouraged.

Brazen Digital Booths (registration required)
Participating in the virtual event allows attendees to explore careers and connect with MDOT representatives from the comfort of their own homes.
