Indoor Wayfinding
Key project partners: Kevadiya
Description: Indoor Wayfinding involves the creation of a mobile app to help users navigate their way indoors at the Battle Creek Veterans Administration Medical Center and enhance the application to serve persons with visual impairments.
Award amount: $232,800
Current status: A staff change at the Battle Creek veterans hospital and the new administration's lack of interest in pursuing this project has led Kevadiya to enter into discussion with a veterans facility in Ann Arbor. The project work plan has been approved but may be revised pending those discussions. Subcontracts between Kevadiya and their project partners are in the approval process.
