M-85 (Fort Street) project public meeting to discuss railroad crossing near Van Horn Road in Trenton

Project information:
MDOT is currently conducting an engineering study and environmental review to explore ways to improve the railroad crossing. The alternatives being explored include building an M-85 bridge over the railroad, taking the roadway under the railroad or keeping the existing crossing configuration.
The anticipated schedule for this project includes finishing the environmental review by early 2027, designing construction documents from 2027 to late 2028 and performing the project in 2029-2030.
