US-41/M-28 Baraga County project starts May 31

MARQUETTE, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $4.3 million to resurface 7.5 miles of US-41/M-28 from east of the M-28/US-141 intersection to the east end of the passing lane section near the Tioga Roadside Park in Covington Township, Baraga County. The project includes asphalt resurfacing, crushing and shaping of shoulders, drainage improvements, guardrail, new signs, and pavement markings.
