MT. PLEASANT, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation will invest $1.4 million to resurface nearly 5 miles of M-30 (Meridian Road) from M-20 (Isabella Road) to US-10.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
From June 6 through 8, crews will detour M-30 from M-20 to Olson Road. Drivers should use the posted detour via M-20, Homer Road, and Olson Road.
Beginning June 9, M-30 will have single-lane closures, traffic shifts, and traffic regulators from Olson Road to Saginaw Road.
The final phase of paving on M-30 (from Saginaw Road to US-10) will be completed during overnight hours (between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.). Traffic will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic with traffic regulators. Birchview Drive and West Center Street at M-30 will be detoured via Saginaw Road during overnight paving operations. The eastbound US-10 exit ramp to M-30 will also be detoured during night paving. Traffic will be detoured via the West River Road exit and Saginaw Road. This work is weather dependent and may require adjustments to phases of the schedule.
