Overall M-59 project completion date:
Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022
This work will require closing one lane of eastbound M-59 between Lakena Road to Tipsico Road, in addition to lane closures already in place in each direction in the work zone. Motorists should expect delays.
Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support nearly 144 jobs.
Closing lanes during this type of work is necessary to provide the safest work area possible for crews and motorists.
The resurfacing and drainage system resulting from this project will provide drivers with a smoother driving surface and will extend the overall life of the roadway.
