M-311 bridge repairs over I-94 in Calhoun County start May 12

MARSHALL, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be closing the M-311 bridge over I-94 as well as two ramps for bridge deck repairs. The $150,000 investment will improve the bridge condition until the interchange replacement project is completed in the coming years.

Traffic restrictions:
M-311 will be detoured on Wheatfield Parkway and Michigan Avenue.
Both loop ramps at I-94 Exit 104 will be closed from 8 p.m. Monday, May 12, t0 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, and from 8 p.m. Thursday, May 15, to 6 a.m. Friday, May 16. During these closures, traffic will be detoured on Michigan Avenue, Columbia Avenue and Beadle Lake Road. There also will be nighttime single-lane closures on I-94 at M-311 during the ramp closures.
