Southbound I-475 ramp to westbound I-69 closed for bridge work Aug. 2

DAVISON, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close the southbound I-475 ramp to westbound I-69 while crews address work on the bridge spanning the ramp. This work is part of a $100 million investment to rebuild more than 2 miles of I-69, along with various work at the I-69/I-475 interchange.
Funding for this project is made possible by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's Rebuilding Michigan program to rebuild the state highways and bridges that are critical to the state's economy and carry the most traffic. The investment strategy is aimed at fixes that result in longer useful lives and improves the condition of the state's infrastructure.

Traffic restrictions:
Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 2, crews will close the southbound I-475 ramp to westbound I-69 while work is done to address the bridge above this ramp. Traffic will be closed and detoured via M-21, Miller Road, and Hammerberg Road.
