M-47 maintenance resurfacing in Saginaw County starts Aug. 3

BAY CITY, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $540,000 to resurface deteriorating sections of M-47 through Tittabawassee Township and Freeland. This maintenance work will address M-47 from White Beech Drive to north of Garfield Road and south of Powley Drive to Church Street.

Traffic will be maintained with lane closures and traffic regulators.
This work will resurface the most deteriorated sections of M-47 while long-term solutions for the roadway are reviewed.
