DETROIT, Mich. - Weather permitting, Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) contract crews will close the westbound I-94 ramp to northbound M-10 at 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20. The ramp closure is necessary to allow crews to safely build a new barrier wall for the ongoing replacement of the Cass Avenue overpass above I-94.

Ramp traffic will be detoured via southbound I-75 to northbound M-10. The ramp is expected to remain closed until late summer.

The new Cass Avenue overpass will replace the original structure built in 1955. All work on this $12.5 million investment is scheduled to be completed in early 2024.
