May 30, 2023
GAYLORD, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $1.5 million to resurface 5.5 miles of M-66 in Missaukee County from M-55 to east of McBain. The project also includes improving sidewalk ramps to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) current standards and widening paved shoulders north of McBain.
Monday, June 5, 2023
Estimated end date:
Friday, Aug. 11, 2023
Drivers should expect lane closures and traffic regulators. Pedestrians will be detoured when sidewalk ramps are under construction.
Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support nearly 19 jobs.
This work will improve the driving surface of the road and extend the life of the roadway, and provide improved comfort and safety for pedestrians.
