LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will complete repairs on the Liberty Road overpass at I-94, following damage previously sustained during a high-load hit.
This work is in addition to emergency repairs completed in March that restored I-94 traffic and allowed crews to leave one lane of alternating traffic open on Liberty Road.

Drivers should expect shoulder closures and overnight lane closures on I-94 at Liberty Road. From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 28, crews will close and detour Liberty Road via Wagner Road, Jackson Road, and West Stadium Boulevard.
Additional closures will be required to complete work through the fall, those dates will be announced in advance of their start.
