Project information:
MDOT and Cavnue, a private company, are piloting the design and implementation of the I-94 CAV corridor project to test and support autonomous vehicles. Construction on the pilot phase of the corridor has started, using a lane closure to support the installation of technology necessary to test CAVs traveling on westbound I-94 from Haggerty Road to Rawsonville Road. In addition to the pilot phase of the project, MDOT is completing an EA on the full project area from M-10 in Detroit to Ann-Arbor Saline Road in Ann Arbor.
MDOT is seeking input from the community throughout the environmental assessment and pilot phase for the corridor. Visit the I-94 CAV corridor study website for more information.
