GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Plainfield Charter Township is hosting a public meeting next week to discuss details of a planned joint project between the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and Plainfield Charter Township to resurface the M-44 Connector (Plainfield Avenue) from I-96 to Airway Street in 2025.

Project information:
In 2025, MDOT plans to resurface the M-44 Connector (Plainfield Avenue) from I-96 to Airway Street. MDOT is partnering with Plainfield Charter Township to incorporate safety and access management enhancements from 4 Mile Road to Airway Street.
