NPS project to add M-109 entrance turn lanes to Sleeping Bear Dune Climb entrance begins July 8

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. - A permit project by the National Park Service (NPS) will add left- and right-turn lanes on M-109 at the Dune Climb entrance (Hunter Road) at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

Traffic restrictions:
This work will require lane closures on M-109 with traffic regulators July 15-30, followed by a lane shift through August. Drivers will see intermittent lane closures in late August and early September.
