M-26 culvert replacement in Houghton County set to begin Oct. 7

HOUGHTON, Mich. - Contractors for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be replacing a culvert on M-26 north of First Avenue/Naumkeg Street in Adams Township, Houghton County, requiring lane closures beginning Oct. 7. The project is expected to be completed by Oct. 17.
Motorists should expect one lane of alternating traffic open on M-26 via temporary traffic signals.
This project will help ensure continued safe and reliable operation of the roadway.
