M-90 public meeting Dec. 10 for proposed road diet in Brown City

SAGINAW, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) invites the public to attend a meeting to discuss a proposed road diet to reduce M-90 from four lanes to three lanes within Brown City in Sanilac County. This project is proposed for spring 2025 and would include the addition of bike lanes through the city limits.

Project information:
MDOT is proposing to convert M-90 in Brown City from the existing four-lane roadway, which includes two lanes in each direction, to a three-lane roadway with one lane in each direction plus a center left-turn lane. The project would also include the installation of bike lanes within the city limits from Cade Road to Maple Valley Road.
