US-2 resurfacing project in Iron Mountain starts May 4

IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $1.4 million to resurface approximately 2 miles of US-2 from Kent Street to Traders Mine Road in Iron Mountain, Dickinson County. The project will include asphalt cold milling; drainage structure adjustments; concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk repairs; asphalt resurfacing and pavement markings.
