M-50, M-79 improvements in Charlotte begin Sept. 14

LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will begin resurfacing M-50 (Cochran Avenue) from M-50/I-69 Business Route (BR) to Beech Highway and M-79/I-69 Business Loop (BL) (Lawrence Street/Lansing Street) from Bostwick Street to Gale Street in Charlotte beginning Monday, Sept. 14. Work will include installing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant sidewalks.
