KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be closing eastbound I-94 Exit 74B to northbound US-131 for joint repairs from 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15.
During the closure, ramp traffic will be detoured via eastbound I-94, Oakland Drive and westbound I-94 to northbound US-131. Drivers should expect delays and are advised to find an alternate route.
Ramp closures during this type of work are necessary to provide the safest work area possible for crews and motorists. These improvements will provide drivers with a safer, smoother ride and extend the life of the road.
