MDOT and the Southwest Michigan Planning Commission (SWMPC) led the statewide development of coordinated transportation plans across 14 Regional Planning Agency (RPA) service areas. Required for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5310 funding, these plans identify mobility needs and improvements for older adults, people with disabilities, and individuals with lower incomes.
