Northbound I-675 final detour for bridge work in Saginaw starts June 6
June 01, 2022
This work is part of a $10.5 million investment to improve more than 8 miles of I-675 with concrete pavement repairs, and work to address maintenance needs on 36 bridges and culvert structures. Work started in April 2021 and is expected to be complete in June.
Monday, June 6, 2022
Estimated end date:
Saturday, June 25, 2022
On June 6, crews will close and detour northbound I-675 from the south junction of I-675/I-75 to Michigan Avenue. Traffic will be detoured via northbound I-75 and southbound I-675. Crews expect work to be complete by June 25, weather dependent.
Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support 133 jobs.
This work will improve safety for crews and motorists while critical bridge repairs and maintenance are completed on the I-675 corridor.
