M-29 bascule bridge repairs at the Pine River in St. Clair County start Dec. 19

SAGINAW, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $1.2 million in repairs to the M-29 bridge over the Pine River in St. Clair County. Work includes repairs to the hydraulic cylinder and tail lock, as well as concrete patching on the bridge substructure.

Drivers should expect single-lane closures with two full overnight closures in March or April to address bridge balancing requirements. Overnight closures will be announced in advance.
