M-52 bridge repairs over Estey Drain in Shiawassee County start June 5

BAY CITY, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $4.4 million to replace the Estey Drain culvert on M-52 in Shiawassee County, and chip seal the route from Wilkinson Road to the Shiawassee/Saginaw county line.

Traffic restrictions:
M-52 will be detoured during the culvert replacement. The detour is expected to be in place June 5 - Aug. 25. During this time, drivers should use the posted detour via Johnston Road, State Road, and Juddville Road.
While crews chip seal M-52 from Wilkinson Road to the Shiawassee/Saginaw county line, traffic will be managed with traffic regulators.
