Jackson Street to close, Blackstone Street to reopen June 27 as part of Jackson railroad bridge project

LANSING, Mich. - On June 27, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close Jackson Street while reopening parallel Blackstone Street with a new at-grade railroad crossing. This work is part of a project to simultaneously replace century-old Jackson and Mechanic street railroad bridges in early August.
