Eastbound I-696 closing from Mound Road to M-53 (Van Dyke Avenue) for weekend bridge work in Macomb County

WARREN/CENTER LINE, Mich. ­- Beginning 8 p.m. Saturday, July 15, through 8 a.m. Sunday, July 16, eastbound I-696 will be closed between Mound Road in Warren and M-53 (Van Dyke Avenue) in Center Line while crews repair false decking on the 11 Mile Road bridge.

During this closure, eastbound I-696 traffic will exit at Mound Road and be detoured via southbound Mound Road to eastbound 10 Mile Road, then northbound M-53 (Van Dyke Avenue) to eastbound I-696.

As part of the closure, the northbound and southbound Mound Road ramps to eastbound I-696 will also be closed.
