Lane and ramp closures on M-10 (Lodge Freeway) and M-8 (Davison Highway) for bridge work in Wayne County

DETROIT, Mich. – Bridge work requires lane closures on northbound and southbound M-10 (Lodge Freeway) and M-8 (Davison Highway) over the next few months in Detroit.

Beginning 7 a.m., Monday, Sept. 18 through early October:

- Southbound M-10 ramp to eastbound M-8 will close. Traffic will be detoured to southbound M-10 to northbound I-75 to eastbound M-8.

Beginning 7 a.m., Monday, Sept. 25 through mid-November:

  • Southbound M-10 between Glendale Street and Chicago Boulevard will have right lane closed for work on the Calvert Avenue bridge, leaving 2 lanes open.
  • The ramp from Chicago Boulevard to northbound M-10 will be closed.
  • The Webb Street ramp to southbound M-10 will be closed.
  • Calvert Avenue will be closed over M-10.
    • Eastbound Calvert Avenue traffic will be detoured using southbound Woodrow Wilson Street to eastbound Chicago Boulevard, then to northbound Hamilton Avenue.
    • Westbound Calvert Avenue traffic will be detoured to southbound Hamilton Avenue to westbound Chicago Boulevard, then to northbound Woodrow Wilson Street.

    Beginning 7 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 9 through Saturday, Nov. 18:

    -      Northbound M-10 between Chicago Boulevard and Webb Street will have the right lane closed for work on the Calvert Avenue bridge, leaving 2 lanes open.

  • The Monterey Avenue pedestrian bridge over M-10 will be closed.
  • The Webb Street ramp to northbound M-10 will be closed.
