GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting a public meeting on Thursday, May 21, regarding the M-11 (28th Street) rebuilding project between Division Avenue to Kalamazoo Avenue. MDOT staff will provide information on project details, traffic maintenance and scheduling. The public is invited to stop by any time during the meeting to learn more about the project and provide comments.

MDOT is rebuilding approximately 2 miles of M-11 from Division Avenue to Kalamazoo Avenue. The project includes asphalt resurfacing, drainage improvements, four new midblock signalized pedestrian crosswalks and replacing the pump station at Division Avenue to address flooding issues. Preliminary work is scheduled to begin later this fall with the bulk of construction taking place in 2027.
