I-75 Rebuilding Project - Monroe County

About this project

MDOT is rebuilding I-75 from Laplaisance Road to N Dixie Highway in the city of Monroe, Frenchtown Charter Township and Monroe Charter Township in Monroe County. The proposed project will address operational and safety needs.

Improvements include:

Removing the Elm Avenue interchange to eliminate the weave/merge and safety concerns that currently exist.
Rebuilding the Front Street interchange with improved ramps to allow for easier vehicle and truck movement.
Improving traffic flow at the Front Street and N Dixie Highway intersections.
