Intelligent Transportation Systems data

Data produced by MDOT’s Intelligent Transportation Systems are made available to the public on a real-time basis through the MDOT Real-Time Data Exchange (RIDE). This system allows users to browse available datasets, view dataset documentation, and access data through an integrated application programming interface (API).

Datasets include:

• Dynamic Message Sign Status
• Truck Parking Availability
• Work Zone Location Information
• Traffic Events

Users can access this system by creating a MiLogin for Business account. Once logged into the system, search for MDOT Real-Time Data Exchange (MDOT RIDE) using the Discover Online Services function.
