Federal Regulations
Current good food manufacturing practices, also referred to as cGMPs, are published in Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 117 (21 CFR 117). cGMPs describe the methods, equipment, facilities, and controls for producing processed food. cGMPs serve as the basis for manufactured food inspections.
