M-66 fixed object removal open house
MDOT will be holding a public open house for the M-66 fixed-object removal project in Calhoun and Branch counties planned for 2027-2029.
Accessibility:
Attendees who require mobility, visual, hearing, written, or other assistance for effective participation should contact Orlando Curry at 517-241-7462 or CurryO@Michigan.gov, preferably at least five business days prior to the scheduled meeting. Forms are located on the Title VI webpage. Requests made after this timeframe will be evaluated and honored to the extent possible.
Project information:
Starting in February 2027, MDOT crews will be removing fixed objects, including tree removal and brush clearing, along M-66 between Glenn Cross Road in Battle Creek, Calhoun County, and M-60 in Branch County. The project includes tree planting and right-of-way restoration. Work is expected to be completed by September 2029.
The work will require shoulder closures and single-lane closures with traffic regulators.
