This project will include an 8-foot-wide asphalt surface extending to South Partridge Point Road and Outer Drive. Once completed the Charter Township of Alpena will maintain the trail. Funding for this project was provided through MDOT’s Carbon Reduction Template for nonmotorized facilities. Project construction is anticipated in the summer of 2027.
