Southbound I-75 overnight closure in Bay County to set bridge beams on Parish Road Oct. 19-22

BAY CITY, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will detour southbound I-75 during overnight hours to set bridge beams on Parish Road in Bay County.
This work is part of an overall $29 million investment to improve nearly 5 miles of miles of I-75 through Bay County, including bridge improvements at three locations. Work started in April 2021.

Traffic restrictions:
Southbound I-75 will be closed at Parish Road Oct. 19-22, beginning at 7 p.m. each evening and reopening by 6 a.m. the following morning. Drivers should follow the posted detour via Linwood Road and M-13.

This work is expected to directly and indirectly support 368 jobs.
This work improved nearly 5 miles of I-75 and completed significant repairs, including new bridge decks to three bridge structures.
