MDOT hosting virtual public meeting July 9 on upcoming M-29 project in Macomb County

NEW BALTIMORE, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting a virtual public meeting to discuss upcoming work on the M-29 (23 Mile Road/Green Street/Main Street) project in the city of New Baltimore and Chesterfield Township. At this meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the project team to learn details and benefits of the upcoming work scheduled to begin in late July.

Project background:
MDOT will be investing approximately $3.2 million to resurface more than 3 miles of M-29 between Baker Road and the St. Clair County line. Work includes upgrades to sidewalk curb ramps, traffic signal improvements and permanent paving markings.

Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support 31 jobs.
