MDOT public meeting Feb. 27 to discuss proposed ramp closure on I-75 BL in Oakland County

Pontiac, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting a public meeting to discuss the future I-75 Business Loop (BL) project. As part of the project, the Square Lake Road ramp to eastbound I-75 BL is being studied for removal.

Project background:
This project involves rebuilding I-75 BL from M-1 (Woodward Avenue) to I-75 in Bloomfield Township, in the cities of Pontiac and Bloomfield Hills in Oakland County. As part of the project, the Square Lake Road ramp to eastbound I-75 BL is being studied for removal. The project also includes replacing the pavement, improving storm sewer, ramp improvements at the Opdyke Road interchange, and safety improvements.
