Northbound I-75 closure for culvert and pavement maintenance in Genesee County starts May 5

DAVISON, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close northbound I-75 just north of the south junction of I-75/I-475 to complete culvert and pavement repairs.

In January 2020, northbound I-75 was closed following a culvert washout. After weekend emergency repairs, the roadway was reopened to traffic. Crews will remove the existing pavement patch, lower the culvert, and replace the pavement to match the existing roadbed. This work is being completed ahead of resurfacing work planned for later this summer.
